Sister Liu
The camera was brought into my daily life to join in the course of the relationship between me and my mother. Its role was not limited to recording, but also a reflection of myself. During my upbringing, the close mother-daughter relationship is not able to eliminate my confusion of the self-sacrificing decisions and behaviors of my mother. Those photos combine stuffs and scenes reminding me of childhood chaos and turbulent family relationship. Subtle compromises to the memory have appeared with the development of the project, and the childhood violence has been beautified through photos.
